Today's topic is gonna be some questions that people asked me on my facebook wall. so 제 페이스북 담벼락 통해서 들어온 질문 답변해 드리는 시간일거에요. so, first of all, yesterday we discussed the nuclear security summit that's taking place in Seoul. so 영어로 진행되고 있다 진행중이다 여러가지 표현으로 말할수 있어요 영어에서. is underway 우리 배웠죠. The Nuclear Security Summit is underway. also, taking place 도 가능합니다. is being held 이것도 가능합니다. 그리고 끝났을 때 was held.right? so, 또는 closed, The Nuclear Security Summit closed in Seoul on Tuesday. 이런식으로 말할 수도 있어요. so, OK, that was a little review time and now the questions, 질문 이렇게 들어왔습니다. 제일 오른쪽 이라는 표현은 영어로 어떻게 하나요?, 가장 오른쪽 물어보셨어요. so, at the far right 이라고 써요.far 멀다 제일 멀리 오른쪽에 떨어져 있는, at the far right. of the page, at the far left of the page 이렇게 말할 수 있어요. so, for example, you see that house on the far left? 맨 오른쪽에 맨 끝에 or at the far left on the very end of the street ?이라고 말할 수 있어요. so far left, far right. 그리고 정치에 대해서 얘기할때도 써요 so, for example, 극단적으로 좌측 아니면은 우측 on the far left, on the far right, so on the extremes of the political spectrum 이라고 할 수도 있고, so next question is 아깝다. 아깝다는 표현 영어로 어떻게 되나요? 이거 조금 남았는데 버리기엔 너무 아까운데. so, it's a waste. You still have a lot of food left on your plate. It's a waste or it would be such a waste to just throw it away. 또는 oh, what a waste ! 이렇게 조금 감탄사처럼도 써요.What a waste. so, for example, 친구가 맛있는 음식 다 버렸어요 그래서 그거 보고나서 what a waste ! that food was great. that food was so wonderful 이렇게 말할 수 있겠죠. what a waste. oh, what a waste. 그리고 아쉽다. 그리고 이 표현은 사이트에 다 올라가있는 표현이기는 하지만 많은 사람들이 그동안 물어보셨어요. so, 다시 해보는 거에요, so, 아쉽다. 이 기회를 놓쳐서 정말 아쉽습니다. OK, so for example, what a shame ! 이라고 하시면 돼요. 우리 저번에 배웠어요. 근데 what a shame. so for example 친구가 먼저 집에 들어가야 한다고 했어요 우리 지금 같이 놀고 있었는데 한 친구 먼저 집에 들어가야돼. 그러면은 what a shame. I wish we could have spent more time together. 우리 더 많은 시간 같이 보낼 수 있었으면 좋았을텐데. I wish we could have spent more time together. What a shame. 이 shame 하고 창피하다 shame 하고 달라요. 헷갈리시면 안돼요. 이거 다른 의미입니다. 이거는 부끄럽다. 망신 그 shame 아닙니다. so, what a shame이라고 하면 아쉽다. OK, 그러면 여기까지입니다. 오늘 레슨 끝났습니다.
